Listen to PROBE - mp3 - opens new window
Look around, everywhere you turn it’s probe-mic
It’s everywhere that you go (that’s what it’s for)
You try, everything you can to escape
The soundfield measures you know
If all else fails, and you long to be
Something better than you are today
I know a way that you can get away
It’s called REAL EAR and here’s what its for so
Come on PROBE, fit all hearing aids with this method
Hey, hey, hey
Come on PROBE, it’s not hard to learn how to use it
You know you can do it
All you need, is your own real ear equipment
So you can show what you know
Go inside, put the probe next to the eardrum
And get your REUR
The next step is to put the hearing aid in
Adjust the volume control
You are now measuring the most important value
It’s the aided response
That’s REAR
Come on Probe, fit all hearing aids with this method
Come on Probe, it’s not hard to learn how to use it
You know you can do it
Real ear’s where you find it
No more soundfield measurement
So before you order an aid, make sure you get your
MCL…. LDL….REUR Prior to the Order
Come on Probe, fit all hearing aids with this method
Hey, hey, hey
Come on Probe, it’s not hard to learn how to use it
You know you can do it
Real ear’s where you find it…Real ear’s where you find it…
NAL and POGO
DSL and PASCO
Cox, Berger and Libby are keen
And they’re in every magazine
Gus Muller, Hawkins, Dave
Picture of hearing aid kings
Dave Fabry, Mead Killion
Jerry Northern, loves your ears
They have style, they have grace
Good old Kemar, gave good face
Gustav, Jerry, David, too
What a great book, we love you
Patients with an attitude
Audiologists in the mood
Don’t just stand there, let’s get to it
Use the probe, there’s nothing to it
Probe….
