Lyrics by: Barbara Packer
Sung to the tune of: Dream by the Everly Brothers
Beeeeep ... Beep, Beep, Beep
Beeeeep ... Beep, Beep, Beep
When I hear beeps
In the night
It gives me creeps
In the night
Whenever I think of Audiology
I'm glad I'll be an S.L.P.
Now SRTs
And PBs too
And PTAs
Oh what zoo!
Whenever I think of Audiology
I'm glad I'll be an S.L.P.
I can see the phones
And that yicky bone
All the time, night and day
Only trouble is, Gee Whiz
I'm beeping my life away
It's screening time
Reports are due
Impedance tips
Cerumen - OOH!
Whenever I think of Audiology
I'm glad I'll be an S.L.P.
Beeeeep ... Beep, Beep, Beep
Beeeeep ... Beep, Beep, Beep
This tune was written, tongue-in-cheek, by a frustrated audiology professor, who had been working for 10 years in a spech-language-pathology master's program. Sung by the Nova Southeastern University audiologists at the annual Student-Faculty Roast, Barbara packer resolved, that evening, to write the curriculum for Nova Southeastern University's current Au.D. program.
