Musical Bio:
His first public performance was in fifth grade as the “Little Drummer Boy” in my elementary school’s Christmas Concert. He won numerous Wisconsin State Solo Ensemble First place awards for various percussion instruments in High School; played in the marching band, jazz band, and orchestra, but never went to band camp. David partially financed his college education by playing in polka bands in Wisconsin and Minnesota. His first band was called “The Cellar Dwellers” (1971); his last band was “Kentucky Waterfall” (2005). David's biggest performance was when he played tympani on “Also Sprach Zarthusa” (2001: Space Odyssey) at the 2001 American Academy of Audiology Opening General Assembly in San Diego.
